Got Questions?
We’ve got answers.

We recommend placing the Love Handles on two general areas:

  • Lower abdomen (and vicinity of your groin).
  • Lower back.

Sticky gels may be reused until the stickiness is lost. We estimate that each set will last you approximately 8-10 uses when used, stored and cared for properly.

The Sticky Gels are made of medical-grade hydrogel. Stick Gels ingredients include:

  • Cross-linked acrylic resin
  • Polyhydric alcohol
  • Electrolytic salt
  • Additives (stabiliser etc.)
  • De-ionised water
  • A little bit of magic (joking!)

Sticky Gels in action.

Amazing product and Staff!

I struggle with intense period pain that affects both my lower back and abdomen, especially in the first couple of days. The Ovira machine has helped reduce that intense pain and made it easier to function like a normal human being during those first hell like days. Not only does it help with pain but it is small and discrete making it easy to wear to work and during the day without it being obvious.

Another amazing quality is the staff. The first Ovira device I ordered was faulty and didn't work. When I emailed the staff, they were super friendly and helpful with my enquiry and instantly got onto the problem and sent me a new one.

Highly recommend trying this out, I wouldn't say it completely gets rid of pain, but definitely a great tool for management that makes period pain that bit easier.

I recommend it to everyone!

I’ve struggled with severe cramping for over 8 years now. No painkillers, heat packs or yoga would even touch the sides of the type of pain I get with my period. This device has completely changed that. I feel a twinge of pain, turn it on for about 2 minutes on a fairly high setting and my cramps are gone! I don’t like to leave it on constantly as I find it starts to tickle and get a little itchy after a while so I only turn it on when needed. People who menstruate - stop filling your body with painkillers that will eventually become redundant after a while as you build up a tolerance. Switch to this drug free solution- you won’t regret it!

Game changer

Since I was 14 I've had debilitating period pain. Ive spent hours of my life every month in the shower, baths, with hot packs etc, with no relief. Usually in the first 24 hours of getting my period I'll need to take double the recommended dose of pain killers to make a dent in the pain, but used Ovira for the first time yesterday. Put it on as soon as I realised I got my period and thought I'd take the risk of not using pain killers and see what happened...

I went through the whole afternoon and evening without any pain, although I did have to ramp up the intensity a few times. I couldn't believe it!

My only wish is that the battery lasts longer, as it died at 3am so I woke up, but I think that's a learning for me to time things better and try recharge it before I go to sleep.

I'm so so impressed and wish I bought it sooner! Thank you Ovira team, you've created a game changer for me and so many other women!

11/10 best thing ever

at first i was kinda scared to use it or go to any setting higher than 7 bc i’ve never used something like this before and i felt uncomfortable with how it felt so it didn’t relieve any pain but i eventually got through my fear and went to higher levels and wow… this has honestly saved me. i get absolutely horrible cramps like i will be curled up, knees to my chest, rolling around on my floor crying bc of how bad they are (even when i take meds) but i haven’t cried from pain from my last 2 periods at all. i put the pads on my lower back where most of the pain spreads from and turn it up as high as needed (or as high as i can take depending on the moment), and after a few minutes, the pain of the cramps go away and i get used to the feeling of the device (i also take pamprin and advil to help keep the pain away on the first couple days). i’m able to go to school, watch movies, and do homework without having to take breaks or feel like crying all day. this is truly the greatest thing ever made.

also i think it’s really important to know what it feels like bc at first it was really weird and uncomfortable and i didn’t understand how it was supposed to feel but as i got more comfortable w it the feeling kinda fades. like it kinda feels like a stinging-humming on the skin on the lower settings and then on higher ones it’s like if something were to squeeze the layers under your skin along w the stinging-humming on the skin. but like it doesn’t necessarily hurt but it’s more like…
